Juneau Women's Health (JWH) is a sole-provider clinic, offering primary and reproductive care
services to people assigned female at birth. JWH provides gender affirming and sexual health services for all members of the community, regardless of sex-assigned at birth.
Juneau Women’s Health values providing compassionate, collaborative, and affirming, patient-centered care. Every patient deserves to feel heard and empathetically understood, which is why JWC considers themselves a teammate and partner in your care. At JWC, patients are provided with all the information they need to empower them in making informed decisions about their own health.
Alix Curtain, MSN, WHNP-BC, CNM, She/Her/Hers
Alix was born and raised in Juneau and has a profound love for this community. She has been working in healthcare since 2010 and is grateful for the many talented and intelligent people she has learned from along the way. Alix began her nursing career as an RN on the OB floor at Bartlett Beginnings. From there, she worked at Planned Parenthood as both an RN and a Clinician. Alix has special interests in gender affirming care, sexual health, and issues of reproductive justice.
When she’s not working, you can find Alix doing community theater, hanging out with her Pomeranians, or spending time with her husband.
